This attractive and well made windup alarm clock has saved us from being late many mornings since we live in an area that gets frequent power outages. The windup key is easy to turn and provides enough feedback to let you know when it fully wound. The clock runs for well over 12 hours on a full wind, but might vary depending how long you let the alarm ring.

I found that my clocks both ran a little slow out of the box, losing about 10 minutes or so over a day, but it was easy enough to adjust with the slider switch on the back (use a paper clip to reach in).

We also use these as travel alarm clocks as well.
